"Poodle"

I photographed this little Miniature Poodle on a sunny but cold day with snow covering the ground. The perfect model for me - a retired champion, now in pet trim instead of one of the fancy show styles. I decided to suggest a little of the age although I did remove some years by omitting the more noticeable grey muzzle hairs. I was surprisingly pleased with my drawing of the fuzzy hair, as I had no idea how to depict it before I began.

The drawing took approximately 90 hours to complete.
