Great video, each time you explain your techniques I learn something new - even though I've read your book and watched countless videos, I take something different from them each time.

My goal is to gain the ability to transfer visual ideas to paper. Watching this video has reinforced my thoughts that 'Hey, I can do this!' The fact that I can use my feelings to express these visual ideas is a big step in my graphite art study.
A great video, Mike. Worth watching over and over. I repeat: Worth watching over and over. Thanks again Mike.

Once I learned to use your chisel edge method, it changed the way I drew. I still have trouble just letting myself "feel" textures, but when I do, the drawing just seems to flow effortlessly. Thanks for making drawing so achievable for all of us!
