"Great Dane"

This wonderful dog lived near Leeds/Bradford airport and I spent a lovely couple of hours surrounded by him and his four companions. Often I don't know what I'm looking for but "I know it when I see it". In this case, he just shouts "I am a Great Dane" embodying, as he does, everything I expect to find in the breed.

The drawing took approximately 86 hours to complete and is one of the very few drawings I am particularly pleased with.
