"Pekingese head-study"

I photographed a few Pekingese for this study but eventually borrowed more suitable photographs from a top breeder in Cheshire. This coat type is probably one of the hardest to draw, as it contains no hard-edged detail and the wispy, flyaway nature can only be hinted at. I am unusually pleased with the result.

The drawing took approximately 110 hours to complete.
